Half-day courses

Each of the following courses can be held at our training centre in Waltham Abbey, or at a location of your choice (space permitting). Train up to 10 of your operatives at once, and talk to us about the possibility of having two courses on the same day to make the most out of your time.

IPAF Safety Harness Training

IPAF Safety Harness Training

This IPAF certified course teaches operatives how to safely select and conduct inspections of MEWP harnesses and associated PPE. This course is the ideal accompaniment to our IPAF working at height training.

General Use Safety Harness Training

General Use Safety Harness Training

The general use training course is designed for operatives using fall arrest equipment that is not associated with the use of MEWPs. The course will be tailored to your specific business so that it is directly applicable to your operatives.

Abrasive Wheel Training

Abrasive Wheel Training

Designed for operatives who use items with cutting/abrasive disks, this course covers the risks, precautions and safety measures involved in using abrasive wheel machines, as well as removing and replacing wheels and disks.

Asbestos Awareness Training

Asbestos Awareness Training

This awareness training course is for workers who may come into contact with areas that have asbestos, providing an appropriate level of training to recognise the risks and an understanding of how to avoid disturbing the asbestos.

Confined Space Awareness Training

Confined Space Awareness Training

As an awareness course, this training is designed for operatives who work near confined spaces or may be associated with confined space operations in an external capacity, to understand the risks of confined space working.

Manual Handling Training

Manual Handling Training

Suitable for anyone who undertakes manual handling operations in any capacity, this course covers safety, legal responsibilities, safe handling methods, control measures, and the common causes of injury through manual handling.
