Our combined IPAF 3a and 3b operator training course is an accredited course offering certified training in the use of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, including scissor lifts, booms, and cherry pickers. All successful trainees will receive an IPAF PAL card, valid for 5 years.
Please note that the course will be in written and verbal English. A translator can attend the course to assist your operatives but they can only translate, they cannot be a candidate on the course itself. Please let us know in advance if a translator will be attending.

This course is designed for anyone who will be using self-propelled scissor lifts and cherry pickers in any circumstances. Whether on a construction site while renovating your own home, you should attend this course to ensure the safety of you and others around you.
Age requirements
You must be at least 16 years old to take this course.
If you complete the course and are successful in both the theory and practical sessions, you will receive an IPAF PAL Certificate and Photo card. Your certification is valid for 5 years from the date of issue.
Qualifications needed
No formal qualifications or experience are necessary to complete the course, but a basic understanding of working at height issues would be beneficial. A good understanding of spoken and written English is required.
